So how do the counselling sessions work?
I offer a half an hour meet and greet session either online or face to face. It is your chance to meet me have a coffee and see where the counselling takes place. This is at a cost of £20.00. Often the hardest parts are initially reaching out, and walking through that door!
After the initial meeting if you chose to work with the TLC Counselling Hub then we will mutually agree on a time and date that is agreeable for you to start your sessions. Initially these are usually weekly to establish the therapeutic alliance. The sessions will last 60 mins and will cost £50.00 payment can be either by cash, direct debit or sum-up. Details of payment can be discussed at your first session.
During the session a brief check in takes place we then work with your presenting issue or what is concerning you at this moment in time. We often use creative mediums via white boards, mood cards, sand trays and art to unlock your concerns in a safe contained way.
Finally It is your time and space to discuss whatever is bothering you. There really is no time like the present to offload your worries and concerns to our very experienced counsellor.
The TLC Counselling Hub predominately offers counselling in Andover, but now with online sessions available we can work more extensively with other clients we can offer counselling in Basingstoke, counselling in Winchester, counselling in Hampshire and further a field. We are also close to rail and bus networks.
