Our Friends

Mr. Jordan Wylie MBE

So Nicky, the Hub’s director,  first met Jordan a few years back when he swept the boards, winning many accolades at the Pride of Andover.

Nicky then had the pleasure of going to Djibouti 3 times consecutively with Jordan. They became good friends on these trips, and her husband Clive was Jordan’s ‘wing man’ on his epic Tower Power 24 challenge which raised thousands of pounds for charities https://www.towerpower2024.com/

Nicky and Jordan also share a vision and a passion for mental health, particularly for teenagers and adolescents. Behind the scenes, they have together been helping teenagers in their town.

Jordan is soon to embark on his latest epic world first, an audacious expedition that promises to etch a new chapter into the history of Antarctic exploration. Working very closely with the polar experts at Shackleton and Antarctica Logistics & Expeditions (ALE), Jordan will set out on a breathtaking adventure across some of the most inhospitable and untouched wilderness on Earth.

Launching from Union Glacier base camp, deep within the heart of the coldest, windiest, and driest continent – Jordan will ski, towing all his equipment through the imposing and unrelenting terrain of the Heritage Range. This is the southernmost region of Antarctica’s towering Ellsworth Mountains, a place defined by jagged ridges, razor sharp peaks, and huge glaciers.

The area’s treacherous nunataks and formidable escarpments will challenge every ounce of his endurance and resolve. The TLC Counselling Hub will be cheering him on every step of the way. If you want to get behind him and support his charity for the Army Cadets then please support him here https://www.jordanwylie.org/

Jordan’s motto:

‘Be the differnce that makes a differnce’.
