How do the counselling sessions work?

I offer a 30-minute “meet and greet” session, either online or face-to-face, where you can get to know me, have a coffee, and see the counselling space. This session costs £20. It’s often the hardest part to take that first step and reach out, but once you do, it’s the beginning of your journey!

After the initial meeting, if you choose to continue with TLC Counselling Hub, we’ll agree on a mutually convenient time to start your sessions. Typically, sessions are held weekly at first to establish a strong therapeutic connection.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and costs £60. Payment can be made via cash, direct debit, or SumUp—payment details can be discussed at your first session.

During our time together, we’ll start with a brief check-in, followed by exploring your current concerns or presenting issues. We often use creative tools like whiteboards, mood cards, sand trays, and art to help you express and understand your feelings in a safe, contained way.

Ultimately, these sessions are your time and space to talk about whatever is on your mind. There’s truly no better time than now to share your worries with a skilled and compassionate counsellor.
